So our deployment just ended and I must say one thing that is easier when the hubby is deployed ... cooking. I love to cook.. however after a long day at work, coming home to the kids and school work and preparing for the next day, cooking was not a high priority. Now that DH is home we are getting back into cooking daily and eating better. It's kind of nice timing since school is out ... which means I have one less thing on my plate.
We are eating healthy. Over a year ago, DH started the Caveman diet, then to Paleo. You must understand... he's a Marine, healthy, in shape so we really thought the body he had was the way it would always be. Until he chose the Paleo lifestyle. He is the weight he was when we married! Looks great!! (who am I kidding, he's always looked great!).
I'm looking for new meals to try and some I have tried so far have been GREAT! I will say, after a trip to Whole Foods, I'm happy I don't have to shop there for everything.

Ready, Set, wait a few months, Blog .....
So I realize I haven't been blogging. I had created this blog because a Professor once told me how this could be beneficial and help through being apart and such. I really liked the idea - created - and left it there. I am sure I am not the ONLY one that has done such things. But here I am, now... ready to get started. This is new to me.
I am a Marine wife, a mom of 3, a teacher, a student... and just plain tired. I hope that some things I post help others through some of their times ... even if it is just to know you're not alone. One thing with our Military - we're never alone. Someone out there is going through the same thing, or has gone through it before!
Hang on ya'll... I'm sure there will be some bumps ahead
